MUSIC SERIES

The Pastorius Community Gardens (PCG) Live Music Series is currently on pause and will be revived this year with a new event and music program! Stay tuned!!

In the past, we showcased a diverse array of local and regional talent on the PCG member-built stage which doubles as a horizontal tool storage area. Since 2017, PCG Live is powered by two solar power panels that have been installed in the garden on top of our shade structure.

The PCG Live Music Series joins a number of excellent outdoor performance
venues in Germantown, and is free to the public. It has been supported by Germantown CDC and our partner Men Who Care of Germantown. The series creates a space
and an occasion for our neighborhood to come together as a community in
appreciation for the arts, cultivating and celebrating a sense of place.
In keeping with the rich cultural diversity of our Germantown neighborhood, in 2017 we
presented a truly diverse array of acts, including famed local rapper PnB
Chizz, Sabruyalla African drum ensemble, soul groups Elle and the John Doe Band
and Danie Ocean, gospel choir Andre Harris and Anointed Move, folk group
Under the Oak, and jazz-funk ensemble The Julian Hartwell Project.
